Nico Bell made it three out of three for the Nissan Trailseeker Series this Saturday, and thereby extended his overall series lead.
Bell was in the front of the race from the start, and together with Brand du Plessis, they managed to distance themselves from the rest of the bunch.
Nico had to stop halfway to remove some rusted barbwire that had become tangled in his rear wheel, and had to chase back a gap of almost 2 minutes on du Plessis. He caught du Plessis just 500m from the line to sprint pass him for the win.
The next race for the team will be the Crater Cruise on 13 September in Parys. It will be the last race of the MTN National MTB Series, another series that Nico is currently leading.
