Tienie is a late bloomer, and only started cycling at 49 due to Subaru’s sponsorship involvement (now 56). For years he avoided MTB but eventually he crossed over, joined the clan and has now has seen the light.
As a diabetic Riding long races is challenging; the management of races needs to be just that more precise.
He’s also an avowed coffee addict with a cycling problem, grandfather and husband to the best wife a man can have.
