Knysna, South Africa ~ The picturesque Conrad Pezula Field of Dreams was buzzing with excitement on Wednesday, 08 July 2015 when close to 300 eager junior adventure seekers lined up to partake in the action of the Totalsports XTERRA Kids Race presented by REHIDRAT® SPORT.
“The Totalsports XTERRA Kids Race was once again the source of much excitement,” says Liezel Gey Van Pittius, Event Manager: XTERRA Kids. “The atmosphere was electrifying. You couldn’t help but smile when you saw all the happy children riding their bicycles or taking on the run route at the Conrad Pezula Field of Dreams. Each year we are overwhelmed by the superb support shown by moms, dads, siblings and friends. It’s nearly impossible to determine who is having the most fun. That is what XTERRA is all about”.
Following in the footsteps of their heroes the day before the much anticipated Totalsports XTERRA Lite and Totalsports XTERRA races, junior XTERRA Warriors had three categories to choose from: 6-8 years (1,5km Cycle, 500m Run), 9-11years (5km Cycle, 2km Run) and 12-14years (10km Cycle, 3km Run). Each entrant received a goody bag that included a drawstring bag, a water bottle from ISUZU and a box of scrumptious ProNutro. Medals were also awarded to all finishers.
Forming part of the much loved Pick ‘n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival, XTERRA Pezula is the ideal event for the entire family.

All Totalsports XTERRA entrants can look forward to stocking up on energy at the much loved Bokomo Breakfast Zone the morning of the XTERRA at the Conrad Pezula Field of Dreams, while tired Warriors can regain their strength in the REHIDRAT® Zone.
