On stopping by the Pure Motion Sports sand at the Cape Town Cycle Tour’s Lifecycle Expo we were treated to a little taste of the future, in the form of organic energy bars.
Pro Bar is an American GMO free 100% organic energy bar, made from cold pressed raw ingredients. The company prides itself on producing “Real Food” and is also the official nutrition supplier to the Tinkoff-Saxo UCI World Tour Cycling Team, which boasts riders like Alberto Contador and Peter Sagan. The samples we tasted were absolutely amazing, and it will be interesting to see how they stack on against other bars on the bike.
We don’t have all the details on the South African distribution and pricing, but it’s safe to say they’ll be available from the Pure Motion Sports website and from most bike shops who currently stock POC (Pure Motion Sport’s flagship brand) gear.
