Lill and Woolcock extend contracts to ride past Epic

Omnico South Africa and Blend Property Group are pleased to announce that Darren Lill and Waylon Woolcock have both signed contract extensions that will see them riding for Team Red-E Blend until the end of the 2015 ABSA Cape Epic. Red-E, an electronics brand focusing on powerbanks and lifestyle accessories, together with Blend Property Group are excited about the next few months after the team have set their sights on a strong showing at this year’s ABSA Cape Epic.

The two feel that in the Cannondale Scalpel Team Edition, they have one of the best bikes for the job and are hoping that more efficient training through accurate power data – thanks to one of the most technologically advanced, yet simple power meters on the market, Stages Power – will see them carry their good form into the ABSA Cape Epic in March.

Darren and Waylon are thankful for the long-standing support of their current sponsors and are looking forward to continuing their good start to 2015 after already having competed in the first national ultra-marathon of the season at Meerendal as well as a second place finish at Tankwa Trek and Waylon finishing second at the Ashburton Sabie National.

“We’re delighted to have extended what has already proved a highly-successful partnership with Team RED-E Blend until the end of the ABSA Cape Epic,” said Darren Lill of the renewed affiliation. “Through their support and provision of top-notch equipment, we are confident we can attain some great results as we continue through what is proving a very competitive season, so it’s relieving to know that we have a competitive edge.”
