All cycling enthusiasts still have time to participate in the highly anticipated MTB Challenge. Taking place on Saturday 12 August 2023, at the picturesque Arauna Farm, this event caters to riders of all skill levels, providing an exhilarating experience and leave them with lasting memories.
The MTB Challenge is not only a thrilling race but also the third event in the Western Province XCM series for 2023, adding an extra layer of excitement and competition. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist, a newcomer to the sport, an average participant, or an elite sportsman, this event has a route option perfectly suited for you.
Choose from the following options:
Family-Friendly Fun: The 15km and 30km routes are ideal for families and beginners, offering relatively flat terrains that are enjoyable for riders of all ages and skill levels.
Ultimate Challenge: For those seeking an adrenaline rush and a true test of endurance, the 60km route is where the real excitement lies. With an actual distance of 56.8km and a total elevation of 1489m, this route will push riders to their limits and provide a truly rewarding experience.
Included in the entry fee are a range of perks that enhance the overall race day experience. Participants will enjoy professional timing, a commemorative finishers medal, a breathtaking on-route experience surrounded by natural beauty, fully stocked waterpoints to stay hydrated, and a lively post-race village complete with a farmers’ market, live music, and exciting lucky draw prizes.
