Media representatives, sponsors, industry leaders and exhibitors joined the Standard Bank Africa Cycle Fair team at the official launch of our 2015 event. Stormy Johannesburg clouds also gathered for the event and added some spectacular element changes throughout the evening.
Rob Heath, Fair Director, highlighted the theme #cyclingforeveryone for this years event and gave more background on what could be expected from the new location, exhibitors, and events at the Fair.
Mauritz van den Berg, Executive – Client Coverage at Standard Bank, emphasised the importance of Standard Bank’s involvement int the Fair. Standard Bank are into the second year of there involvement with Africa’s premier cycle Fair. Standard Bank share in the passion for cycling as a means of transport, exercise, breaking boundaries and uniting families through sport.
On display was last years Best Bike in Africa, a PYGA Pascoe ONEFOURTY650. This bike was designed and built by South African legend Patrick Morewood. In 2015, the Best Bike in Africa returns and with some new bike designs filtering into the local market, a lucky member of the public will ride away with another great bike.
