The Lesotho Ultimate Challenge is expedition style riding at it best. It’s back to basics with self-navigation, no marshals, no medals and with limited support you’ll get to experience the true nature of adventure trail riding. Away from the competitive arena, no fame, no glory, just you and your bike in one of the most unique riding environments in Southern Africa. Add to the experience the relative isolation and vastness of Lesotho and you have yourself an adventure second to none!
Last year saw Martin and Jeannie Dreyer, along with an experienced group of expedition rider’s, take on the Challenge for the first time. It was tough and it was rugged, there were laughs and maybe even a few tears but everyone (including the crew) came home smiling (in need of a hot bath & a few loads of laundry!) Friends and memories were made which will last a lifetime. Detour Trails is excited to bring you the 2014 edition, with a few changes to keep things interesting!
