UCI Mountain Bike World Championships

The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships taking place in Val Di Sole, Italy.   is in full swing.  The South African team is well represented and have been in action already.  Alan Hatherly, SA’s Top ranked XCO rider has laid down a marker by winning the first of the two heats in the (XCC) Men’s Elite Short Track event.  Matt Beers also made the final which will take place on Thursday.

The 2021 World Championships is taking place over 5 days and across most MTB disciplines.   The Marathon Worlds is held separately and is currently scheduled for 02 October.
